Ways of seeing 視覺的方式

Our two different collections of artwork meet in the same space. Interestingly, we found our concepts could connect with each other, which is, the sense of seeing can reach the original feeling of your own. Thus, interpreting our works by intuition is our focus, not by words. Because words may alter the authenticity of the art and and may not reach the feelings inside. We are not trying to showcase the depth we see by cancelling the noise to make it eye candy for the half awake world. Aiming to keep our feelings abstract in the artwork for your sense of vision to receive what you observe through our work. We open the space for you to freely feel the way you prefer.

此展覽：視覺的方式，由兩組看上去似乎全然不同的作品（寫實攝影及抽象繪畫）在同一個場域對話、一同展出。有趣的是，兩位藝術家經過聊天，發現一些創作時觀看方式的共性，即著重於藝術家當下的感知、情緒。兩位藝術家認為作品應該自己發聲，讓觀看者自由地想像與感受，才能達到最初衷創作的情感，而不是建立在過多的文字陳述及解釋，因為文字和敘述會停止內在最原始的感知。此外，兩者的作品皆刻意保留想像及自由詮釋的空間，試圖講述複雜的情緒堆疊，並非過度的裝飾及甜美。
