“Equity is the quality of being fair and reasonable in a way that gives equal treatment to everyone. We base this call on grounds of social justice and equity.” ~ Collins Dictionary
There is so much we have forgotten, let us bring in ancient wisdom into the modern world. Highlighting women working, living, and creating in Taiwan and inspiring others to embrace an equitable world.
The day will begin with Messages from the Elders honoring the elder women of Taiwan’s indigenous tribes. This will be followed by a panel discussion with speakers from diverse backgrounds, each in their own way bringing the wisdom of the past to their life and work discipline. After a short Q&A session, lunch will be served, followed by a tour of the Museum of World Religions.
We hope you can join us in person to honor all women, celebrate our community, and commit to driving change by embracing equity.
