The gong is a sacred threshold. It is a portal that links the finite and the infinite experience of the self. Whenever our intention is to cross that portal, we must consciously link to the chain of being.

The Golden Link should be established before playing the first note of the gong.

The Gong’s teachings feed our higher mind with a spiritual knowledge that helps us to revive our awareness and develop our intuition and power of synthesis, connecting with the heart. It is the path to mastery in the use of sound as a tool of transformation and wellbeing in the way to service the humanity!

The Gong Master Training is aimed at all professionals and advanced sound therapists, or student of yoga, or the musician, but also for those who simply wish to be introduced in the power of self-realization and healing with the gong.

This training is designed to also receive the intermediate and advanced students of Gong, so that they may develop their skills to teach students and thereby converting it into teachers of teachers.

Day 1 – 4
GONG – History, types of gongs, techniques for playing, hand techniques, maintenance, accessories (mallets, stands, bags), Preparation and execution of Gong Baths and Concert, Play
the gong for meditation and in the yoga classes.

Day 5
VOICE – Freeing the voice, overtone singing, singing with shruti box, mantras.

Gong notes are beautiful and strong vibrations, a gong bath repeatedly stacked over top one another. Like water droplets hitting the surface of your skin, as if washing your body under a waterfall of the sound of gong. Gong is the only musical instrument that can tap into the inner depths of the divine creation of space vibrations. The sound of gong is the sound of the soul. When we strike the gong, it is like striking the percussion of the universe, into the vast galaxy whirlpool, washing both body and mind. Sonic sound makes us calm, relaxed, and also closer to the inner self.

This time gong bath, the international Gong Master Gongmuse Surana will play a lot of plant gongs such as sun, five planets of the solar system, earth and moon…etc. Bring us travel in the sound sea of universe.

Actors: GongMuse Surana
Surana is an internationally recognized teacher of Healing Sound of Gongs, Himalayan and Crystal singing bowls and Voice.

She has been traveling and teaching Gong Master Trainings since 2003, in many countries of Europe, as well in Dubai, New Zealand, Australia, Usa, China, Hong Kong. A lot of her travels she did together with Gong Master – Don Conreaux, as his assistant and as co-teacher on 30 and more one-week Gong Master Trainings around the World.

She is originator of “Meridian Sound Massage” with Himalayan singing bowls, which she has spread to many hundreds of families, as well to many therapists and wellness centers.As artist, she has performed around the world and her CD’s are regarded for effects of nurturing the listeners.
Before diving into the Healing Sound, she was working and teaching in the fields of Reflexology, Colour Therapy, Dance Therapy, Laughter Yoga, Trance Dance and Awakening of the Feminine.

These evenings start at 7pm. The first reader/speaker will be introduced and called up on stage after a few words from the host (me) at around 7:30. There will be an intermission, after which the 2nd half begins 15 to 20 minutes later until the last speaker/performer. Usually finishing between 10 and 11pm depending on how many guests there are wanting to speak.

Invite friends. People that would like to get up on stage and read some poetry, sing a song, make a statement or just tell a good joke. Anything goes. There is a sign up sheet for those who want to share something. Or just come along to see what happens and enjoy being part of the “Culture of Listening”.

Buy a bottle of wine at the entrance to share between 2 or 3 of you. That’s the entrance fee.
There’s plenty of entertainment and carefully prepared delicacies to enjoy throughout the evening.
These events are also a “Community Grapevine” and can be treated as a “Forum”.
A gathering place for us to meet, drink wine and get things talked about. If we have something to say then we should say it.

A cheeky exploration of our daily interactions through installation and sculpture to illuminate the boundaries we often forget to draw, need to set, and are constantly at odds with. The exhibit hopes to empower viewers to take ownership of their right to filter what enters their lives, and reject what doesn’t sustain them. By doing so, we are better able to create a reality closer to our personal ideals.

Spirits of the Night 9 ~ Gong Meditation

The gong is an ancient shamanic instrument of healing, rejuvenation and transformation, containing the sacred seed sound of OM (Aum) that affects the third eye and the pituitary and pineal glands, increasing our intuition, connecting us to divine wisdom and universal love. Physically, the gong takes us to a state of deep relaxation releasing energetic blocks, vibrating the cells, as it balances the glandular and nervous systems, increases prana (vital life force energy) and improves circulation. The gong also works deeply on the mental, emotional and spiritual bodies.

Before the gong meditation, you will do some yoga and breathing exercises, it will let you more relax and comfortable for sound healing. Vibrate the cosmos and the cosmos shall clear the path. On a spiritual level, the gong helps us to clear our path of obstacles so that we may live life from our hearts and our truth, and not from fear or our limiting negative beliefs. Final, we will sing two mantras to assists in allowing for a clearer path to hearing our heart’s truth and our intuition.

Note: Please wear or bring warm loose clothing to the session, and prepare a jacket to cover your body.

明亮之夜~~銅鑼冥想

銅鑼是療癒、提振和轉化的一個古老薩滿樂器，它包含OM（AUM）的神聖種子音，銅鑼聲影響了第三眼、腦下垂體和松果體，增加了我們的直覺敢，並將我們連接到神的智慧和聖愛。在物理上，銅鑼聲波把我們帶到深度放鬆的狀態下釋放出充滿活力的能量，振動細胞，因此得以平衡腺體和神經系統，增加了prana（生命力的能量），並促進血液循環。

銅鑼冥想之前，我們會帶領大家做簡單的瑜珈與呼吸練習暖身，讓您在聆聽銅鑼聲波療癒之前更加放鬆。透過鑼聲震動了宇宙，宇宙為我們掃清生命道途。在精神層面，銅鑼幫助我們澄清障礙路徑，以便我們的生活可以遵循自己的內心和真誠，讓我們不會受限於恐懼或消極的信念。演奏20分鐘銅鑼浴最後，我們代領大家唱誦2首咒語(Mantra)，更深入接近內在的自我。

註：請穿著舒適、保暖的衣物，最好攜帶厚外套覆蓋身體。

That’s what we do, two ways: 1) Volunteers prepare in advance to read short stories aloud, (some restrictions apply. please contact us for details). 2) Event attendees are invited to share reading a story aloud by joining a circle of readers.

Red Room Radio Redux is dedicated to the survival of reading. Proceeds from our events support libraries in developing communities in Taiwan.
If you can donate books for these communities, bring them to the Red Room International Village at TAF, where there is a collection box.
Any level of reading appropriate for school going children is accepted – in Chinese or English. Please be sure the books are in good condition.

It’s a most beloved time of year, and we invite everyone to sing! Shout! Dance! Laugh! Indulge in the liquid gold that is whiskey and be merry at 76th Stage Time & Wine St Patty’s Day Edition!

Come share the space with us as we revisit familiar performances and be wowed by the new. Those who wish to perform may sign up at the door on the day of the event (open mic format).

We invite guests to please contribute to the Community Bar with a beverage of their choice so that nobody has to go thirsty. The power to drink ’til your cup runneth over is in your hands, and your hands only! We think wine or whiskey are good choices 🙂

Sound Mystery of The Universe ~~Gong Concert

We welcome you to an amazing, transformational Musical Mystery experience which will combine the gong, African drum, tounge drum, koshi bell and the human voice. A combination of alpha and omega music, dissonance and harmony which will take you on an inner journey, and dissolves the physical background. The music of the Now.

Syntonic rules of a rarely used musical method, and a synthesis of tone differences made in order to bring about a different, dimensionless world of endless potential. The purpose and goal of a gong concert is to nurture the quantum shifting of consciousness in the audience in order to initiate an inclusive state of universality rather than an exclusive one. All of the concerts are healing concerts using holistic resonance of the gong as its mystic chord. Every concert we play is dedicated to World Peace.

宇宙的神秘之音~~銅鑼音樂會
